Somewhere down the pipe is bound to be a better action figure/statue of Paul Rudd's Ant-Man made available to us. For now, this one from Diamond Select Toys is the best what's out in the market. It is marvelously sculpted, and looks just like in the movie, and is posable with sixteen points of articulation. It comes with two extra sets of hands. Ant-Man stands a mighty 7" tall. Li'l Ant-Man - which is what sealed the deal for me - stands at 1 7/8". I pretty much love the crap out of this.Took me a while to figure out why mine doesn't come with Paul Rudd's headsculpt as featured in many YouTube reviews. For the benefit of others, this is not a Disney Exclusive version.Doesn't bother me at all because I bought this little guy (main reason was the miniature Ant-Man) to be with my 1/6th scale Hot Toys. Sculpt is great and movie accurate. Great addition to my Avengers line-up.I got this for my boyfriend's 9yo little brother (because I wanted it) and it's very detailed for the price. Im Vergleich zu Spider Man & Co. vielleicht nicht gerade der populärste Superheld im Marvel-Universum, nach dem Kinofilm sollte dieser aber die Superhelden-Sammlung meines Sohnes bereichern. So wurde es zum Geburtstag dieses Figuren Set für rund 30 Euro. Das Kerlchen ist schon Geschmackssache, sieht etwas eigenwillig aus in seinem Anzug, aber das haben die Macher des Films, bzw. des Comics nun einmal so vorgegeben. Und natürlich kann dieser 30-Euro-Ant-Man optisch nicht mit Figuren z.B. der Hot-Toy-Serie mithalten, die spielen aber auch preislich in einer ganz anderen Liga (rund 200,- aufwärts).Aber: Im Vergleich zu anderen Figuren der 30-Euro-Klasse ist der Ant Man sehr gut und detailverliebt gestaltet. Die Figur steht bei uns zudem nicht nur im Regal, sondern muss sich im Spielbetrieb auch gegen andere Superhelden beweisen. Bisher hat Ant Man dabei noch nicht gelitten, d.h. die Gelenke halten noch fest, Hände lassen sich noch austauschen und optisch sind noch keine Beeinträchtigungen eingetreten.Bleibt die Frage: Ist (Ihnen) so ein Plastikmännchen wirklich 30 Euro wert? Wenn dies der Fall ist, können Sie hier bedenkenlos zugreifen - ich zumindest war sowohl vom Film als auch von dieser Figur positiv überrascht.
